Life’s Little Perks

Yes, they say life has it’s perks. I added “little” to the title and, by the end of this page, we’ll likely find that word more fitting than sarcastic.  I am creating this page to balance against the two on my other blog called Aggrevating Factors & Dilemmas and FYI where I’m a real Debbie Downer. (Disclaimer: Not my word and I in no way believe all Debbies are downers.)  So, shall we get started on that list:

  • I love the sound of rain falling on a tin roof.  But I’ll take rain any way I can get it.
  • Puppy love, meaning the way a pet loves you. My dog is the love of my life.
  • Dishwashers; there was a time they didn’t exist, but that’s neither your problem nor mine.
  • Wisdom, culture, self-esteem, individuality, personality, chatacter.
  • My youth was full of great times. FULL…GREAT.
  • They aren’t next door and I don’t see them much, but I still have the best friends.
  • My kids and pets are really amazing.
  • Food & shelter are not just wishes. I have those.
  • I have hobbies, even if they are unpopular. I like taking selfies and doodling on them.  I like writing and reading. Meeting new people is fun even if the only thing new is their nicknames.
  • Dreams.
  • My phone has a “Do Not Disturb” button.
  • I keep having to use my “do not disturb” button.
  • Sense of humor, mine and many others.
